I await on the dusty shelf,
Inside my wrapper o' gold,
As you come in, with the door a' clanging,
Hurry! Buy me before I mold!
As you look among the shelves,
For your aching sweet tooth,
I could hardly contain my glee,
As you slowly approached my booth.
As you looked carefully over my brothers and sisters,
Looking for the best choice to make,
My wrapper o' gold caught your eye,
And there! Your hand came to me to take!
Walking back to the register,
With little ol' me beside,
Stopping in front of the pimply man,
You paid the due, and went outside.
Opening my wrapper o' gold ever so slowly,
My eyes caught the world around me,
As you brought your mouth closer and closer...
I SCREAMED!
